Espace Knox est un centre communautaire à but non lucratif géré par des artistes-membres. Nous facilitons la collaboration interdisciplinaire ainsi que la recherche, la production et la diffusion des projets artistiques. Nous sommes situés dans une ancienne église Presbytérienne et donc sommes investis d’un désir d’honorer son héritage en mettant à la disposition de la communauté un espace où l’art et la culture puisse y trouver place. Notre objectif est de soutenir les artistes émergents en offrant aux membres—peintres, sculpteurs, conservateurs, écrivains, praticiens de nouveaux médias, cinéastes, illustrateurs, et plus—un espace abordable pour développer et enrichir leur pratique artistique avec la possibilité de collaborer à des projets interdisciplinaires. L’espace sera également disponible pour d’autres organismes communautaires à but non lucratif dont les projets s’alignent avec notre mission.

Espace Knox is a non-profit artist-run community centre. We facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration as well as research, production and diffusion of works. We are located in a former Presbyterian church, and are invested in protecting and honouring its heritage by making the space available to the community for arts and culture. Our goal is to support emerging artists by offering members—painters, sculptors, curators, writers, new media practitioners, filmmakers, illustrators, and more—an affordable space in which to develop and enrich their practice with the opportunity for collaboration on interdisciplinary projects. The space will also be available to other non-profit community organizations whose projects align with our mission.
